- Timer- A timer is very helpful for timing how long you have been practicing, breaking your practice into more doable amounts, and so you can find the honest amount you have been working. I usually just use the stopwatch on my phone.
- Metronome- I use two different metronomes. One is one my phone, the other sits on my music stand and is much louder. You should experiment and see what works best for you.
- Tuner- (for violin)- I prefer the two tuners on my phone. They are convenient because they do not clip on the violin and because they are a lot easier to read. One tuner is for matching close to the pitch. It is best for when strings are changed or when the string slip. The other tuner shows the exact pitch to allow for perfect tuning.
